The Crown of St Wenceslas (Czech: Svatováclavská koruna) is the crown of the Kingdom of Bohemia and named after the most important patron saint of the Bohemian lands, St Wenceslas (Czech: Svatý Václav).
The crown was made for Charles IV of Luxembourg in 1347. This major symbol of Bohemian polity is kept in St Vitus’ Cathedral at Prague, in a room that is not open to the public above the Chapel of St Wenceslas, the resting place of the saint’s remains.
